BIA Advocacy Letter – 2025 Festival Safety Funding

Call to Action:

In light of the tragic events of the Lapu Lapu festival in Vancouver, Toronto BIAs that put on events and festivals are in need of your assistance in advocating for festival safety funding from all levels of government.

To support this advocacy, please see attached letter template customizable to your BIA and key event(s). If your BIA does not hold street events, your support is still needed and appreciated.
