Digital Main Street

What is Digital Main Street?

Digital Main Street is an online platform and service for main street businesses that can help with the adoption of digital tools and/or technologies. Digital Main Street was created in partnership between the City of Toronto and TABIA and is supported by Founding Partners – Google, MasterCard, and Rogers – along with Product Partners – Microsoft and Shopify.

How can Digital Main Street Help my Member Businesses?

By having your member businesses join the Digital Main Street platform and complete the onboarding process, they will receive a free Digital Assessment and recommended to-do list that identifies technologies and tools that can help their business meet their digital goals. Along with this, they will also receive exclusive discounts from various digital vendors as part of the DMS community.

Together with the Digital Assessment, your members also can engage with our retained team of highly trained recent graduates and students – the Digital Service Squad. The Digital Service Squad can work with your businesses in their stores to activate free and easy to use tools, while also providing recommendations for other technologies.

The Digital Main Street Academy is a collection of events, how to guides, and tools your members can access to help them with their Digital Transformation. Click here for upcoming DMS events.

Is There any Cost to my Members Associated With Digital Main Street?

There is absolutely no cost to your member businesses to join Digital Main Street and receive their Digital Assessment. If they choose to activate a tool or service from one of DMS’ partners or vendors, then there may be a cost associated with this activation. But often there is a special price or free trial period for businesses using Digital Main Street.
