KEEP IT LOCAL
Support Local, Shop Bloorcourt Campaign Launched
The Bloorcourt BIA is hosting a support local, shop Bloorcourt campaign from May 27th to June 2nd.
Bloorcourt is home to over 250 businesses ranging from restaurants to entertainment venues, retail shops, specialty stores, cafes, social services and many more. As future development and gentrification is inevitable in our City, we need to preserve and protect our local neighbourhood identities.
When a community shops local:
● Local shops offer their unique goods & services which reflect the amazing
diversity and cultures in our community
● Local shops offer much stronger personal customer service
● It keeps money circulating in the local area to help other local businesses.
The Bloorcourt BIA was founded in 1979, representing commercial property owners and business owner and operators along Bloor St W between Dufferin St to Montrose Ave. The BIA’s efforts include street beautification, advocacy on local issues and creating a thriving economic landscape for the member businesses. If you would like more information, please contact Meg Marshall, Manager of the Bloorcourt BIA at email@example.com .
