Join the Parkdale Village BIA for their ‘Spring into Parkdale’ Sidewalk Festival and Night Market!

The annual outdoor street festival features a sidewalk sale with over 100 vendors, live entertainment and FREE family-friendly activities. Take part in the 1.4km sidewalk sale, visit 4 markets including the 10,000 sq.ft. outdoor Night Market showcasing Parkdale’s eclectic food and chefs, a 10,000 sq.ft. Kids Zone and the Little Tibet Market!

WHEN IS THE FESTIVAL?
The Sidewalk Festival takes place on Saturday May 11th, 2019 from 11:00am-6:00pm, and the Night Market attraction at the Festival takes place from 4:00pm-9:00pm.

WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL? 
The Sidewalk Festival takes place along Queen Street West from Roncesvalles Avenue to Dufferin Street, with a side road closure at Cowan Avenue, as well as 2-3 Green P Parking lot closures. The Festival includes up to 11 designated ‘Zones’ with added attractions. (Note: We do NOT close off Queen Street West)

WHO COMES TO THE FESTIVAL? 
54% of Festival attendees come with their families and about 38% of people are aged 36-45 years old. Around 62% say they came for the outdoor Festival atmosphere & music whereas 38% said they came to eat local. What’s most notable is that 70% of attendees are coming from Parkdale, Roncesvalles or Brockton and 68% of Festival-goers spend up to $50!
